Our Plan? Hang out with my good friend Skier Dan in Big Sky, Montana.
We made it there the day before the storm so Dan showed me around his new home resort.
The first day of the storm only delivered a few inches of snow to we stuck on the Moon Light Basin side.
You have to love low angled trees.
But the highlight of Montana was ridding the Big Couloir off the top of the Tram. We made it onto the list as they only allowed 30 minute intervals with groups of two so Hummel and I were on the list at 11:30
It was by far the highlight of Montana riding in descent snow top to bottom, a bit flat light but still good.
The next day we left Montana and found ourselves driving through the Idaho desert.
